Mykonos Buses & 2 Bus Stations

The north bus station is to the north of the main town beach and serves Tourlos, Ayios Stefanos, Elia, and Ano Mera. The south bus station, across town in the Lakka area (where is found also the post office, Olympic Airways and bike rentals) serves the southern beaches and resorts, and run into the wee hours.

Mykonos Taxis

Platia Mavrogenous on the waterfront is where to look for taxis; they also run from the south bus station. Rates are reasonable. One can phone Mykonos Radio Taxi at 22890 22400, if looking for a taxi close to wherever one might be, which can prove to be very economical.

Mykonos Scooters

Perhaps the most economical way to ensure ones ability to visit the islands several beaches which may be impacted by strong winds is the scooter or small car. If Paradise Beach is too windy Kalo Livadi(Little Prairie Beach) may be just the place to get relief from those Meltami winds and stinging sands.
