Hora or Mykonos Town
The main town, also called Mykonos, combines the typical Cycladic capital architecture with preserved windmills, many tiny chapels as well as chuches, and museums. It becomes very crowded in high season., and is best visited early or late in the day(or, ideally, out of season). The oldest church is Paraportiani, a structure comprised of four chapels. The best-known part of town is known popularly as Little Venice, with high Venetian houses that sit at the sea’s edge, though the real name of this district is Alefkandra.
